Is there a vitamin or shampoo a person could use, to promote hair growth. Something to add length?

Perhaps there might be a beautician/cosmetologist who can answer this. I was curious to see if there might be a shampoo or vitamin you could use that would help your hair grow longer. I know about vitamins D and E promoting healthy skin but is there anything that along with a good diet that might aid the growth of hair?Is there a vitamin or shampoo a person could use, to promote hair growth. Something to add length?
Forget shampoo, it is a known fact that shampoo is bad for the health of your hair and scalp, thus the best way to promote growth is to go 'no-poo' - this makes your hair much healthier, easier to manage, grows faster and will stay clean much longer even to the point where it will never be greasy again, the healthier scalp and hair promotes growth of your hair. The shampoo you normally use will strip your hair of natural oils meant to keep hair healthy, shiny and strong, thus why conditioners were invented to cover up that damage, but as oils from conditioner don't last and your scalp overcompensates for the oils it has lost it means you need to wash your hair more often. For the no-poo method you use one tablespoon baking soda to one cup of warm water, apply to your roots working it in and let it sit for a minute, this stimulates blood flow, cleans pores and gets off built-up grime, then rinse with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to one cup water, let it sit for a minute and then rinse out. Seriously, don't be scared to try it, there is a transition period but there are things that can be done to help that, and you are guaranteed healthier, shinier and stronger hair from using this method.

No. This question has already been asked about 5 times to day at least, and every day as well. Don't you check the questions? Do you think you are anything different from every other human?

There is nothing you can do from the outside, when the hair is being formed under the skin. Your hair has been programmed before birth, and there is nothing you can do to change that, as long as you remain in good health. Your hair already grows very fast... it's just YOU that is being impatient. If you would just leave your hair alone, it will get long before you know it.

The only thing that grows with any of these products is the seller's bank account.
Mane and Tail is a horse shampoo that has all these vitamins and crap in it that will make your hair look thicker and make it healthier. My sister has used it for years, many people say it makes it grow faster but its just not true. you can get it at walmart either in the shampoo aisle or the pet aisle. oh yeah and its cheaper than a hormone or perscription
I would say not to use chemicals on your hair. Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for hair loss as well as for healthy hair at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm鈥?/a>
Theres a product called Nourkin. Its a tablet that you take for minimum 3 months and can help promote hair griwth but only in certain circumstances like hormonal. Ask your docotr whether it might work for you and good luck
Yes there is a shampoo that could add length to your hair it is called '; Pantene';. Look for the one that says it could make your hair grow longer.
