my mom used coconut oil on my sister and it worked like you could tell. but i hear its not the actaul oil that does it and that it is the massaging it onto your head that stimulates the hair to grow or something. Can i use oils to promote hair growth?
to be honest... that is all a bunch of BS. the only thing that'll promote healthier hair growth is a healthy diet and exercise. if it's a genetic thing you have a problem with (i.e. losing hair) then that could be taken care with stuff like rogaine or prescription meds.
The best thing for growing hair is vitamin E and biotin... you could also try getting a hair, skin and nails vitamin compound from a local health food store... or just start taking prenatal vitamins...
yes according to ayurvedic its the key ingredint which helps ur hair to grow
