I had v long hair until i recently had it cut- I am starting to miss my long hair and wondered how to make it grow quicker? ThanksWhat promotes hair growth? I have hair im not bald just wondered what made it grow quicker? Thanks?
Protein is really good for promoting hair growth, so eat more eggs and the like!

remember-everybody has a different maximum that their hair will grow to- some people's will go on and on, other people struggle to get it below their shoulders...

whilst it's growing take care of it-comb when wet-not brush, conditioner, not too much sun...

good luck! What promotes hair growth? I have hair im not bald just wondered what made it grow quicker? Thanks?
some people think that tablets can help but i dont think they do, i suppose you could always give it a try though (some things work for people but they dont for others). Unfortunately i think the main thing is time and patience(sorry) i had my hair cut as well, its funny though b/c as soon as i had it cut i was like ';why oh why did i get it cut';lol but mine has grown quite quickly. Some people say that having regular trims can help but i dont know.sorry if i havent been much help lol but i really do think that you just have to be patient and in the mean time just experiment with the hair you've got at the mo.
Biotin

Biotin often called vitamin H, is yet another B complex component. Biotin is a proven hair growth vitamin and a preventative to excessive hair loss.

It appears to metabolise fatty acids. Fatty acids are a valuable growth factor in numerous processes in the body including the hair. Biotin is also seen as an aid in preventing hair turning grey.

Biotin is found in egg yolks. Raw egg whites actually hinder effectiveness, but when the albumen (egg white) is cooked, the culprit - a substance called avidin is destroyed by heat. Biotin is also present in liver, milk, yeast and kidney.

Balding men might find that a Biotin supplement may keep their hair longer.
Nothing you can get out of a bottle or tube will make your hair grow any quicker i'm afraid.

The best thing to do now would be to eat a diet that is rich in protien and iron, and (so i belive) take zinc supplements which are supposed to help with thick healthy hair growth.

I also think a trim very 10 weeks while you are actively growing your hair will keep it in top condition. To not get it cut at all will make it look ratty n' tatty through mid legnth to ends.
Just make sure you get your vitamins! Unfortunately there is no miracle grow for hair. I feel your pain though- my hair was all the way down my back not too long ago, but now I am pregnant so I cut it hoping it would make it easier to get ready in the morning. Now I just wish I had my locks back. Also, keep trimming the ends- it grows faster when cut and this will also keep it from getting scraggly at the ends. I have never understood women who keep long hair with it all thinned out and full of split ends at the bottom.
100% pure natural almond hair oil works wonders for hair growth, Dabur is a good company

but most people say hair ONLY EVER GROWS 1 inch per month...so i don't know....but it worked for my mother, her hair hardly ever grew, she started using almond hair oil, and it grew about 2 inches in a month or so.

Many people think that if you cut the dead ends of your hair off, it'll make your hair grow quicker. But my hairdresser said this isn't true. Just leave your hair alone to grow without cutting it. (:
