How to promote hair growth? ?

My hair has grown only about 2 inches since December 2007. How can I make my hair grow faster? What slows the growth down? How to promote hair growth? ?

you should use a good clarifying shampoo. i like to use tea tree shampoo and conditioner by paul mitchel. it is a good stimulated shampoo that is also medicated to help clean pores on scalp so that your hair will grow.
poor diet, too much stress,, not enough sleep can slow down hair growth. to make your hri grow faster massage your scalp with oil( even cooking oil) or grease and braid your hair at night. u might also want to try trimming the tips. :) hope this helps
it may because you have split ends which can reduce hair growth, so if you get your hair trimmed appropriately it should grow faster than it is now.
