Does Hair extensions such as braids promote hair growth?

yesDoes Hair extensions such as braids promote hair growth?
Braids or extensions wont promote hair growth. Hair grows an average of a half in. per month. You can take protein supliments or increase your intake of high protein foods. This may promote faster hair growth. Braiding and extensions are more likely to cause breakage of hair when not done properly.Does Hair extensions such as braids promote hair growth?
yes unless the person that does your hair grip you hair to hard then your hair might be gone when you take them out
Well it does ';promote'; it but believe you me from personal experience, I think my hair has been damaged ever since I got mine taken out! It ruined my once fairly thick hair..But that could have just been me?
depends which method...

if its glue/bonded - glue tends to screw ur hair up and is more of a temp form of extensions. bonded...if done properly they can promote hair growth BUT they can also damage ur hair badly.

weaved/sewn - cos ur hair is braided for 2 months @ a time, it means ur own hair isnt being exposed to daily ware and tare and theres no chemicals being use to apply or remove the extensions
extentions are very bad for hair it can ruin it
yes but not as much as twisting. when hair is braided, hair is pulled tightly. twists are better.
