i have few patches on my head of very thin hair near to baldness.

You could try Nioxin it is suppose to keep hair from coming out anymore. It may help but you have to keep using it regularly. Ask your local salon about it. Baldness is heriditary. If these things don't help you probably have male patern baldness. The only thing you can do for that is invest in hairplugs. Its expensive but the hairs never fall out.
