Ones that you actual have personal experience with? I'm desperate for my hair to get growing! Are there any SURE ways to promote hair growth?
For me i stopped using shampoos with harsh detergents in them i only use conditioner to wash my hair every night and i don't use heat on my hair at all anymore and my hair has grown from a short pixie cut to below my shoulders in one year. i just basically make sure my hair is clean, dangled and i leave it alone i wear buns a lot or those claw clips and i take 5000 mgs of biotin daily and i sleep on a satin pillow case. Are there any SURE ways to promote hair growth?
the only sure thing is that it will take time. you can make your hair and skin healthier by taking omega 3 fish oils. and another thing, is to try to do as little damage to the hair as possible so your hair grows out healthier and can go longer between trims. ditch any hot tools like blow dryers and straighteners, if you dye it, take a break from dyes. etc. your hair will grow in its own time.
it helps to get your hair braided [[ as in corn-rolls]] a couple times a year [[especially if you have ethnic hair]]...i had my hair in braids for maybe..ehh.. 5 weeks? o_O nd when i took them out it was atleast 1-2 inches longer =] ..[[and i haven't tried this yet but i read somewhere that the Egyptians used to use Castor oil and Almond oil in their hair..I'm going to try this some day :)]] ..also be sure to grease your scalp after you wash your hair [[with either oil or grease]] that is if you have ETHNIC hair ....[i say this bcuz i dont want to give you false info..i am: 3/4 black [[lol oh great math]] 7/8 white and 1/8 american indian =]

trim a little bit off your hair each month- the ends get split and the hair stops growing
After menopause, but mostly on your chin and upper lip. Sorry.
